Job Description:

ROLE:  

Research, gather and process image assets from web sites, studios, distributors and related sources in a timely and accurate manner for entry into Gracenote's Programs and People database.

RESPONSIBILITIES

*  Collect and optimize photos, logos and other digital assets from publicists and Web sites to drive New Media products

* Ensure adherence to a style guide, correct formatting and consistent use of image editing rules and guidelines.

* Assist manager with special projects as requested

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

*  B.S. in graphics or related field, or equivalent work experience

* Proficiency in Color correction (using Levels, Curves etc), Cropping/resizing, Gradients, Merging two images, Working with layers, Healing brush, Cloning tool, 

Removing backgrounds, Adding backgrounds, Extending backgrounds, Replacing colors

*  Proficiency with application software Photoshop (good working knowledge of the software and regular use - either in professional or academic setting) and 

Microsoft Office required

* Knowledge of Photoshop keyboard shortcuts, Filters, Masking tools, Pen tool, familiarity with vector-based art

* Effective research, communication and organizational skills

* Familiarity with Macintosh and PC computers and the Internet required

* Knowledge of TV and film industries preferred

* Must be organized, exhibit strong attention to detail, possess multi-tasking ability as well as self-motivation and high energy 

* Knowledge of Digital Asset Management systems a plus
