Job Description:
Head Plant Tissue Culture will be responsible for overseeing end to end activities of Plant Tissue Culture production and their marketing. These would broadly cover
Manage the Tissue Culture Laboratory operations ensuring that plant cultures are produced on large scale according to the standard operating procedures (SOPs) and protocols for the specific tissue culture.
Develop method to reduce existing cost of production of tissue culture plantlets.
Developing protocols for reducing mortality and contamination.
Experience in handling a large team of senior professionals and workers and should be capable of running industrial/commercial set-up.
Formulate marketing strategies to achieve high growth.
Experience in international business development in this area is essential and proven track record to be furnished.
MSC/ Ph.D. Degree in Botany/Agriculture with specialization in tissue culture.
15-20 years of experience in Plant tissue culture business along with Microbiological and Biotechnological techniques.
Operational and People Management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
