Responsibilities:
Create 2D art with respect to character design, color theory, layout, text treatment, and animation
Continually sharpen software expertise through company training, independent learning, and learning from other team members
Display a high degree of professionalism at all times, accepting critique from team members
Show efficiency in self-managing time with a reasonable degree of accountability and minimal instruction
Create original art assets and document all art assets created
Aid the art team in selecting and using fonts appropriately in the online product space
Remain at the forefront of artistic trends and techniques
Requirement:
Bachelor of Arts in Art, Animation or related field
Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator
Solid drawing and rendering abilities
Ability to create art and animation for all game aspects (screen layout, symbol sets, etc)
Understanding of how to design art for various themes and target platform
All applicants MUST provide the following in the event of an interview:
Portfolio Submission (website or blog required for pre-interview)
Samples of sketch work (sketchbook or loose-leaf). We want to see how you conceptualize your thoughts from your mind to canvas.
