Job Description:

Content Strategists can spot an opportunity to improve content at both a strategic and detailed level. They have strong POVs on best practices and are comfortable advising top-notch brands on what it takes to create, distribute, gove, and maintain content. We are keen to produce innovative content strategies that go beyond page-level copy recommendations. Content Strategists should be comfortable creating strategies based on user and business insights. The Content Strategist is responsible for overseeing all content requirements, and creating all content strategy deliverables (content audits, gap analyses, taxonomies, metadata frameworks, style guides, content migration plans, etc.) across the project lifecycle. They will collaborate closely with Design, and Technology groups. Responsibilities include: Provide leading edge content recommendations that fit clients business objectives and audience needs. Manage strategic/complex projects with minimum supervision. Use a combination of 
data analysis, user research, benchmarking, and content audits to make content decisions and orchestrate content development Analyse clients current-state online channels and disce implications for content creation, distribution, and maintenance. Generate insightful observations, but able to synthesise these findings into key takeaways and recommendations for attention-deficient audiences. Determine how best to achieve clients goals through content selection, acquisition, and maintenance-- considering marketing efforts in all media. Conduct competitive audits of site content, taking into consideration business needs and audiences goals. Actively lead client and inteal meetings and presentations around content, and supervise the work of other Content Strategists/copywriters. Be able to consult with account and project management teams about scoping out needed deliverables and timings to accomplish the deliverables. Set guidelines for the editorial tone, style, and voice of all content; Develop and/or oversee content inventories, gap analyses and content mapping documentation; Create taxonomies and metadata frameworks for grouping and tagging content; Ensure content conforms to Search Engine Optimization best practices.
