Supervise overall account function

Mehsana Dist. Co-op. Milk Producers' Union Ltd. popularly known as Dudhsagar Dairy is about 54 years old organization. It is the largest co-operative dairy (ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and ISO 22000:2005 certified) in India procuring milk from 5.39 lakh milk producers who form 1240 co-operative societies. It has the distinction of processing more than 24 lakh liters of milk in a single day, manufacturing a wide range of AMUL & SAGAR brands of top quality milk powder, butter, ghee and sweetened condensed milk, etc. marketed with apex body Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd (GCMMF).

Its scale of operation can be gauged from the fact that it supplies over 12 lakh liters of fresh milk per day, Dahi, Chhas and a variety of ice creams / candies to Delhi/NCR markets alone mainly from its state-of-art 10 LLPD Dairy Plant known as Dudhmansagar Dairy at Manesar. While another similar known as Dudhmotisagar Dairy at Dharuheda of 30 LLPD capacity in Haryana is already commenced in October 2012.

At Mehsana, a third state-of-the-art largest in the country Cattle Feed Plant of 1000 MTPD capacity at Jagudan is already commissioned. Besides, 1st Batch of B. Tech. (DT) course at Mansinhbhai Institute of Dairy and Food Technology (MIDFT) has already started from August '11 to cater to the rising requirement of technocrats for the Industry.

Having a sales turnover of Rs. 4280 crores in the year 2013-14, it is truly the 'Milky Star' of India.
