Job Description:

Industrial application support / Development candidates

1. SCADA software development in C#/C++/C/VB on platforms like the IndusoftWebStudio as well as on the Trihedral VT Scadaplatfrom.

2. Cloud Enterprise application development on selected platform and tools. Likely common tool and languages like C++/Java.

3. Executing the design & engineering activities as per requirements specifiedby the project.

4. Works closely with the Growth Centers and RDE engineering team to meet goals and deadlines

5. Follows standard R&D software guidelines creating code, documenting code, storing code, testing and implementing the software, at times in the field when necessary

6. Participate in software design reviews with software CoE engineering teams

7. Assist OEM’s in the implementation of our specific software requirements

8. Interface with customers, marketing & sales providing technical guidance with PC-Based control

Requirements:

1. An expert in C#/C++

2. C/C++, VB.NET programming - Must have

3. Databases, SQL Server, VB Script & others - Must have

4. Java, JavaScript - Preferably

5. Python and scripting

6. XML, HTML, Knowledge of HTML and web page design– Nice to have

7. SCADA & Cloud systems– Nice to have

8. IEC61131 programming competencies(preferably a mix of ladder logic, function block diagram, structured text, sequential function chart)

9. Experience with communications protocols. Experience with DNP3 would be great. Modbus is useful, and other telemetry experience would be beneficial.

10. Must be able to work with multi-disciplinary teams

11. Working knowledge of SLCD (software life cycle development) processes – preferable

12. Exposure to embedded hardware deigns & components would be an added advantage

13. Understand the overall M&C system integration for water & waste water plants & implement the required knowledge to build top- bottom controls
