Job Description:

• Develop scalable, maintainable, high-availability web applications with front-ends

• Design and develop application front ends for mobile devices and desktop environments interfacing with cloud-hosted Software-as-a-Service products

• Write maintainable code with extensive test coverage, working in a professional software engineering environment with source control, dev/stage/production release cycles

• Ensure technical documentation is maintained

• Develop enhancements and optimizations for existing software products

• Participate actively in product design process

• Interact closely with Product Development Team members to collaborate on new feature implementation and issue resolution

• Work closely with Quality Assurance on issue identification and resolution and clarify product requirements to define test cases

·         Computer Science Degree or Diploma in Software Development or equivalent experience

·         3+ years professional software development experience shipping high-volume, scalable applications

·         Self-motivated, good initiative and able to work independently as well as within a team to deliver a quality product on time

·         Able to quickly learn and adapt to existing source code

·         Experience with database design and optimization

·         Experience in developing web applications and/or iOS, Android mobile applications

·         Experience with leveraging GPS data into applications

·         Excellent understanding of at least one of C#, Java, PHP, ASP or similar languages

·         Excellent  oral and verbal communication skills

·         Good understanding of communication protocols and frameworks such as TCP, HTTP, SOAP and WCF
