Job Description:
Should have good understanding of Firewall and VPN fundamentals.
· Should have good understanding of CheckPoint - Firewalls and VPN architecture, VPN GUI in order to support 24 X 7 operations.
· Independently lead initial troubleshooting of all incidents and resolving routine incidents.
· Update KEDB with documented steps to resolve known problems. Raising/implementing/validating regular change requests. Lead interaction with vendors/customer security team/s. Validating technical issues resolved by L1.
· Creation of new service and operational reports in-line with customer needs.
Routing and Switching.
· Should have experience in L2/L3 technologies.
· Development, design experience in the above areas.
· Layer 2 - STP, RSTP, MSTP, VLAN, 802.1Q, Ethernet Service,
· Layer 3 - RIP, OSPF, BGP, , ICMP.
· Should have worked in L3 Routing & Forwarding Technologies - Routing Protocols (OSPF, BGP),
· Should be able to estimate for features and list risks from experience.
Certifications:
CCNA , CCSA & CCSE – Must. - Lead Administrator ESS-MSS-L4.1
