Your Responsibilities:

•Work with Staff, Principal engineers in driving PMPC features.

•You will write high quality code using your in-depth knowledge of core Java.

•Collaborating with peer engineers, and architects you'll solve complex problems spanning their respective roles to deliver end-to-end components and features.

•The ability to multi-task and re-prioritize responsibilities based on changing requirements (such as urgent customer problems), is a core skill for this position, as well as the ability to produce functional specs and designs based on high level requirements - along with the skills to gather and interpret broad requirement specifications from customers that are not yet fully defined.

•Develop excellent understanding in breadth and depth of Informatica's products and contribute to future product road-map and goals

•Handle 1-2 large tasks as well as a handful of smaller issues concurrently

•Work in an agile software development team delivering product and feature increments in short iterations

•Conduct technical job interviews. Demonstrate ability to judge candidates all-round suitability for a position

•Should be able to guide 1-2 junior engineers and provide the support to make the productive.

•Should have the inclination to take care of the product end to end which means: Managing source code, Doing builds, Enabling QA

•Should show evidence of ability to learn quickly. The candidate will have to learn Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Rule Point and Proactive Monitoring for Power Center

Requirements:

Your Qualifications:

•B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or a relevant technical discipline from top tier engineering schools

•4 years of professional software development experience in an object-oriented language

•Core Java: Must have a strong handle on the basic Java concepts. Should show evidence of having written a lot of code.

•Strong Command of Database Concepts. Needs to know how to use the DB to build an app. No need for DB internals.

•Strong coding skills. Should write good code. Must be sound on design with a good understanding of common patterns.

•Experience in developing thin client web applications with good exposure to J2EE concepts.

•Familiarity with Web Services on the consumer side.

•Experience with Hibernate or some other Object Relational Mapping mechanism.

•Competence in Data Structures and Algorithms.

•Familiarity in using light-weight and/or agile methods is desirable

•Effective communication and interpersonal skills

•Able to learn quickly in a dynamic environment

•Troubleshooting and debugging skills

•Energetic and motivated self-starter

•Ability to think creatively
